Ondo town, which is located in Ond state, saw the successful extraction of at least fifty kids from an apartment hidden under a church.

Police investigators in the town have taken into custody the pastor of the church, along with a number of other individuals who were involved in the crime. The toddlers were seen in a video that went viral on the internet and was trending on social media.
They were seen traveling to the police station in a police patrol car, which was used to transport them there. The video has an audio clip of a person that can be heard stating, "There are abducted children located in the subterranean cell of a church in the Valentino Area of Ondo."
The pastor of the church, along with many other members of the congregation, was taken into custody along with the police patrol vehicle. Funmi Odunlami, the spokesperson for the state police command, has verified the finding that was made by police investigators.
According to Odunlam, the victims were transported to the Command's headquarters in Akure. According to her, "I don't have the information yet but they are taking the victims to the headquarters." "I will give you the facts as soon as I receive them from the DPO," she said.
