Before providing your airtime to loved ones, you should update your MTN transfer pin from the factory default to a new one.
It is possible to transfer airtime to another MTN subscriber even if you have changed your MTN transfer pin. However, doing so is not required. It’s in your best interest to avoid any sort of unlawful or unauthorized airtime transfer, so take your time resetting it.
Default Pin for MTN Airtime Transfer
0000 is the only default pin that may be used for MTN Airtime Transfer. That is the numeral “FOUR ZERO.”
This is the default pin issued to all new MTN SIM cards and may be used to transfer airtime.
